Alexis Newman, Senior Marketing Specialist for Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH), works closely with firm principals to manage SGH’s nationwide continuing education and client events program. Over her past 12 years at SGH, Alexis has become a valued member of the marketing team, having transitioned from office manager, to the proposal team, and finally to the corporate marketing communications team. Alexis established a robust events program for the firm, growing it from modest beginnings in one location, to a prolific, well-respected program reaching audiences in all seven office locations across the nation. Alexis has a passion for the built environment and for collaborating with the talented engineers, architects, and scientists at SGH. Her passion also extends to SMPS. Alexis has been an active member since 2006 and was named SMPS-NY Member of the Month in March 2014. She served as Director of Communications for the New York Chapter from 2014 to 2016, and was honored with the “President’s Cup for Outstanding Service to SMPS-NY” in 2016. Alexis continues to share her passion for A/E/C marketing as President of the New York Chapter.

Cancellations made two weeks prior to the event will be fully refunded, minus a $10 processing fee. Due to SMPS Philadelphia’s commitment with vendors, all cancellations after that time and no-shows will be ineligible for a refund, though a registrant may substitute for another event at no charge up until 24 hours prior to the event.
