It’s Not Moby Dick: How to Write What You Need When You Need It – January 11, 2017
3:00PM – 5:00PM
You won the project and your firm wants the world to know it. There is just one problem: when it comes to writing more than a paragraph, you hit a wall.
In a case study format, Rosemarie Fabien, PhD (Fabien Communications) and Denise Thompson, AIA, LEED AP BD+C (Francis Cauffman) will show you how to simplify the process of composing text for marketing and public relations by breaking it down into manageable steps. They will address how to streamline the writing of a project description, press release, blog post and magazine article by creating data checklists, knowing who to talk to and what to ask, leveraging client relations, getting information out of technical staff, taking useful notes, and repurposing as much as possible.
Registration and networking will take place from 3:00-3:30pm followed by the program at 3:30pm. Light refreshments will be served.
This program is eligible for 1.5 CPSM credits.
