Friday Exchange is something new for SMPS Philadelphia. There will be four sessions this year led by experts in the topic to be discussed. Attendees can submit questions or ideas related to the topic beforehand or the morning of. The hope is that a real discussion will take place and ideas will flow freely. Notes from the meeting will be distributed to all attendees.Learn why training is the key to creating a Culture of Cooperation, Communication and Collaboration between your internal marketing team and the rest of your firm. In a discussion with Kathleen Held, CPSM learn how she improved efficiencies and opened up communication across departmental silos by creating a dynamic internal training program to educate staff on marketing and business development challenges, processes and mysteries. In this round table forum we invite you to bring your challenges and success on how you are working smarter not harder across departments.
Join us for this round table style, peer-to-peer exchange of wisdom, lessons learned, and best practices. Attendance will be limited to 25 and a light breakfast will be provided.

Kathleen Held is the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Cini•Little International, Inc., a multidisciplinary consulting firm offering foodservice, laundry and solid waste consulting services to the A/E/C industry. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Kathleen is an officer of the firm and oversees the business development and marketing for the firm’s 9 worldwide offices. She is a caffeine-fueled energizer bunny that oversees proposal development for the entire firm, their pursuits span the globe and every major market sector that requires people to eat.
Kathleen is a Certified Professional Services Marketer, a respected member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, having held varied positions at the national, regional and local level and an SMPS University Alumni. When not in the office, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her four sons and riding with her husband on the back of their Harley.
