Cherry Street Pier Reimagined
November 8, 2018
5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Join SMPS Philadelphia for an evening tour of the newly renovated Cherry Street Pier. The 55,000 square foot formerly unoccupied, century-old municipal pier was recently transformed into a vibrant, mixed-use public space. Offering venues, workspaces, shops, and a park, Cherry Street Pier has a little something for everyone. During the tour, gain insight into the history of the pier, learn about the inspiration behind the renovation, and get an overview of the project’s construction while enjoying cocktails and bites. Speakers include representatives from the Delaware River Waterfront Commission, Scungio Borst & Associates, and Interface Studio Architects.
